We are looking for an Independent Working Chef (Grill & Dark Kitchen).

Job Description

As an independent working chef, you play an important role within our kitchen. You are responsible for the daily preparation of a variety of dishes, with a strong focus on grilling techniques and quality.

Flexibility, responsibility, and passion for the profession are qualities we expect from you. You work accurately, maintain oversight during busy periods, and actively contribute to a smooth kitchen operation. Within our Dark Kitchen, you will have the opportunity to help build a unique and modern hospitality concept in Amsterdam.

Job Responsibilities

• Independently and as part of a team, prepare dishes with a focus on grilling techniques;
• Carry out preparatory and cooking tasks in the kitchen;
• Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes;
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workplace and kitchen equipment (HACCP);
• Contribute ideas for new dishes and process improvements;
• Collaborate within a motivated kitchen team.

Job Requirements

• Available full-time or part-time, including weekends;
• MBO Level 3 working and thinking level or an MBO Level 3 diploma;
• Willing to learn and adopt our working methods and recipes;
• Works with a strong focus on quality and according to HACCP guidelines;
• Flexible and able to handle pressure during busy periods;
• Able to work both independently and in a team.
